Politburo is an open resistance to the current dogma of cheaply made products, with a very finite life span, yet still very expensive.
We believe in a menswear defying categorizations. We are outspoken fans of garments that express diversity and constant sense of sartorial evolution and … revolution.
We believe in time. Every product has to be lasting a lifetime and beyond. We believe that, while getting older, every product has to evolve into something precious. Showing visible signs of experience, clothes and accessories have to turn into being an expression of a personal, and therefore truly unique, lifestyle philosophy.
Materials
Menswear design can reach its full potential only if realized with the right materials. That's why we are so into fancy fabrics, leathers and metals.
Each of the material we use has a story that is worth telling. Politburo develops its special fabrics by mixing the rarest and most luxurious fibers thanks to its exclusive partnership with Lane Bottoli, who, since 1861, celebrates the extraordinary Italian textile tradition, manufacturing some of the world gorgeous fabrics.
For our accessories we use only vegetable tanned leathers. Metal parts are exclusively made in Italy under responsible labor and environmental practices.
Craftmanship
In the age of large scale manufactures, we chose to be modern time artisans. Attention to details elevates the story of each garment we produce. This makes sure that you will own one of a kind piece.
We like to mix the exact science of Italian tailoring tradition with contemporary style. Every Politburo garment is hand tailored by talented network craftsmen working exclusively in Italy, for a fit that you will feel made to measure.
